Poker Tips for Online Poker

* Donīt play to may hands! You must have patience and wait for your time to strike. We recommend new poker players to play no more than 30% of your delt cards.

* If you have bad cards, fold right away.

* Play the limits you feel comfortable with. That doesnīt always have to be the lower ones if you are new to poker. At the lower limits you will see crazy games and to stay into the the river card is cheap. Try it out for yourself and you will know when you feel comfortable.

* Study your opponent. New pokerplayers have a tendency to just look at their own cards. Check how the other players do, what cards they had when they bet and so on.

* When you have good cards you have to be agressiv. A raise will give you information about the other players and get rid of competition.

* Donīt bluff to often and donīt bluff at all at the small limit tables! Play your cards with variation. Sometime you have to play some not so great cards just to open up your game.

* Keep notes about the other players. Most of the poker room clients got this note taking function.

* If you get tired, take a break! Get some air, a cup of coffe or a snack. You do not have to stay in the game.

* Donīt take it personal when you lose. Poker is a game and you will lose from time to time. You do not have to win that money back at the next pot.

* Learn the meaning of your position to the dealerbutton. When youīre in the late position you can keep an eye on the other players because when youīre in early position, be sure of that the others have their eyes on you.

* Once again, poker is a game but you canīt depend on luck alone. Learn the poker rules, always try to improve your poker playing, read books, poker room reviews. Knowledge and information is the best way to become a winning pokerplayer.

* Think of your pokerplaying as a long session. Ups and downs will come and go but to be a winner in the long run you have to see the whole picture and and everyone got those awful downs sometimes. When it happen you might want to stop playing for a while and get your minds straight. Analyse you playing or just do something compleatly different fo a while.

* Then there is play, play, play and more playing. Practice with playmoney but donīt ever compere the playmoney with the real cash games. And last but moste important, have fun!
